A close destination to Sigiriya Rock fort and declared as world heritage site. It is the well-preserved cave arts found in Sri Lanka. Accordance to archaeological evidence this cave temple complex King Walagambha in 01st Century BCE. It was his well-planned and organized Buddhist Monastery. Many kings were supported and developed the Buddhist Monastery insignificantly. There are many ancient ruins can be found in this amazing place that is including building complexes and worship places. There are few caves found in this temple with a large diversity of paintings. In Dambulla Cave Temple colour separation and colour matching were made in a tremendous way. There are over 153 Buddhist painting in the caves. Dambulla Cave temple paintings were made on a smooth surface that used with clay and totally natural things. There are several ancient time ruins found in this monastery complex. The paintings of God and Goddess found in large scale not even that well painted Lord Buddha arts find on a flat surface. The great creation is truly unbelievable. The paintings were made according to Lord Buddha’s life. Such a great place to observe about the natural arts with a religious background.
